Frank's Zoo Calculator app for iPhone and iPad

“Frank’s Zoo Calculator” is a little App to support the card game “Frank’s Zoo”. The card game is designed by Doris & Frank, it features beautiful card designs and a fun gameplay.

Please notice, that the app is only usable in combination with the original card game “Frank’s Zoo”. The app does only support you by playing the game. You still require the card game.

Before you begin to play the card game, each player chooses one of 8 avatars, that keeps track of the player score during the game. The card game can start, after all player were added. You can put the app away and play the card game normally. The app will be needed again, when the first player finishes their game by playing their last card.

Tap the avatar of the finished player. This way, the player get’s marked as finished and their points are added to their score. The iPad version of the app can easily be placed in the middle of the table, so every player can interact with their avatars by themselves. The smaller iPhone version of the game should only be used by a single person who manages all player scores.

After all players did finish the round, bonus points can be assigned. Insert the amount of lions and hedgehogs each player collected to their avatars. The iPad allows you to add them right after the player got marked as finished. On the iPhone version you have to wait for every player to finish. Be careful to mark the finished players in the correct order. The amount of points each player scores depends on the order.

You can continue to the next game round after every player assigns their bonus cards. The app will calculate all scores and assign the players to teams. The teams are identified by the same colour.

The app allows you to add and remove players between game rounds. This way players can easily join or leave the game whenever they want to. Every action can be undone with the revert button.

The app runs on iPad and iPhone, but was optimized for the iPad.
